Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is the most controversial President of Iran. He has been criticized domestically for his economic lapses and disregard for human rights. His election to a second term in 2009 was widely rigged, which caused widespread protests domestically, and drew significant international criticism; the opposition parties, section of the traditional clerical circle and influential Iranian politicians questioned the legitimacy of his presidency. He is an outspoken critic of the United States, Israel, and United Kingdom. He abides by Iran's long-standing policy of refusal to recognize Israel as a legitimate nation or as representative of the region's population, but actively seeks Israel's destruction.

On 23 Sep. 2010, President Ahmadinejad again made offensive comments at the United Nations. While addressing the General Assembly, Ahmadinejad explained the reason for 9/11 attack by saying, “that some segments within the U.S. government orchestrated the attack to reverse the declining American economy, and its grips on the Middle East, in order to save the Zionist regime." "...The majority of the American people as well as most nations and politicians around the world agree with this view,” he claimed. He also asked for the formation of an independent fact-finding body to investigate the 9/11 attacks.

The reader may recall that in the past, Ahmadinejad called 9/11 as a conspiracy by the US and Israel, and accused both Israel and the U.S. for the attacks on 9/11. And his conspiracy theory is supported many Muslims around the world. According to a Pew Global survey, over half of the British Muslims and a fifth of U.S. Muslims believe in Ahmadinejad's conspiracy theory of a US-Israeli hand behind the 9/11 attacks.

It should be noted here that Islam cannot survive without telling lies; hence Muslim leaders don't hesitate to say even the most outrageous lies. Sometimes, it becomes difficult for ordinary non-Muslims to fathom how leaders and head of nations of the Muslim world can tell such blatant lies loudly and repeatedly.

Michael Moore Dedicates Himself for the Cause of Islam

Michael Francis Moore (born April 23, 1954) is an American filmmaker, author and liberal political commentator. He is the director of many movies and to name of the few are Bowling for Columbine, Fahrenheit 9/11, Sicko, and Capitalism: and also many documentaries. A Love Story, four of the top nine highest-grossing documentaries of all time.^[3] In September 2008, he released his first free movie on the Internet, Slacker Uprising, documenting his personal crusade to encourage more Americans to vote in presidential elections.^[4] He has also written and starred in the TV shows TV Nation and The Awful Truth.

Born in Flint and raised in Davison, Michigan, Moore was brought up as a Roman Catholic and had even intended to join the seminary. Now a self-described liberal, Moore has criticized globalization, large corporations, assault weapon ownership, the Iraq War, U.S. President George W. Bush and the American healthcare system in his written and cinematic works.

Moore is a noted sympathizer of Muslims. In a recent interview with CNN, self-loathing Michael Moore, he not only supported the proposed building of a controversial mosque near the Ground Zero, he proposed it be built on the Ground Zero itself. He boldly opined, “I am opposed to the building of the “mosque” two blocks from Ground Zero. I want it built on Ground Zero.”

In this connection, the reader may recall that “Muslim immigrants of America led by Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf planned to build a mosque along with a Muslim cultural center near Ground Zero. Initially the project was named Cordova Islamic center. Cordova being a name of a city in Spain, the name has a historic significance. In the middle ages, Cordova was the center of Islamic culture and the seat of an Islamic Caliphate (Muslim Ruler). Under the rule of the Caliphate, all non-Muslims, including Jews and Christians were subjugated to Islam.”(Wikipedia Encl)

The facts about Islam blog writes:

When the little secret was exposed, Imam Rauf changed the name of the project to Park51. Michael Moore not only wants the proposed mosque be built near the Ground Zero, he is also actively raising money for the project. According to his website, he already has raised $50,000, which he will donate to Imam Rouf. (ibid).

On the day of 9/11 this year, Moore appealed to his supporters to donate for the cause and promised to match up to $10,000. However, he was able to raise 5 times more than originally planned. The names of the contributors are unknown. They can either be enthusiastic Muslims or Dhimnis like Moore.

Mike Ghouse

Mike Ghouse is an Indian-born Muslim. He has changed his original Muslim name (probably from Muhammad to Mike), perhaps to camouflage his Islamic identity. In fact, he was born and raised in Yelahanka, a suburb of Bangalore, India. His father M. Abdul Rahman was India's freedom fighter and the Mayor of the Town of Yelahanka (1952-53). And his Mother’s name was Khairun Nisa.

Many authors inform us that both his father and mother were pluralists, and their influence made Mike a pluralist, too. Some authors even say that his father used to recite pluralistic verses of the Koran. But those, who have read the Koran and know a little about Islam, will refuse to accept such a notion. In fact, there is not even a single verse in the Quran that may be called pluralist. Basically, Koran is a book of hatred that instructs Muslims to kill the entire polytheistic population on the earth and to subjugate the monotheists like Jews and Christians in order to bring the whole world under the banner of Islam. So the claim that his father and mother were pluralistic Muslims is a blatant lie; and Mike Ghouse, in propagating these stories, is lying as part of sacred Islamic ploy of taqiyyah.

Mike Ghouse once said, "My kids Jeff and Mina (Jazzie) have excited me with their fresh perspectives on life and God. All my inspirers have frequently helped me see the world from another point of view, i.e., respecting all creation and "live and let live" point of view.” Here Ghouse played another taqiyya. Allah, the God of his faith, Islam, does not believe in the notion “Live and let live.” In so many verses of the Islamic holy book Koran, Allah says: Islam is the only religion Allah approves; in other words: Let Muslims live and all others perish.

Elsewhere Ghouse says: “My intuitive pluralism and ZERO prejudice has it's origins in Islam, Hinduism, Jainism and Christianity, many consider me to be a Baha'i. I was pleased to hear someone called me a Jew as well, and I have been told by people of different faiths that I belong to them. Thanks to my father for unlocking me from a singular cell and opening multiple windows of knowledge for me."

This comment is another sample of his use of taqiyya and a terrible lie. His intuitive pluralism and ZERO prejudice might have come from Hinduism, Jainism or Buddhism or from any other religions originated in INDIA, but certainly not from Islam.

On another occasion, he said: "A good Muslim is a good Hindu, is a good Christian, is a good Jew, and is a good human being."

This is another piece of his taqiyyah. A good and pious Muslim is a terribly dangerous person for the people of other faiths. The Koran says:

• But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem of war; but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. (Quran 9:5)
• Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Messenger have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection. (Quran 9:29)
• you who believe! Fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness; and know that Allah is with those who guard. (Quran 9:123)

So, it is not difficult to understand that, if a Muslim becomes very pious and begins to do what Allah has commanded him to do in the Koran, what a dangerous person he/she would become for non-Muslims.

Many are convinced that Ghouse grew up enjoying and celebrating Hindu, Muslim, Jain, Parsee and Christian Festivals. He is grateful to his parents for the exposure he was given. "My family has come to believe that all festivals are meant to celebrate and share the joy with the people you know," writes Ghouse. Years later he produced a Radio show, called "Festivals of the World", where the essence and significance of every festival was shared on Saturdays.

Readers should understand that this is not a new technique. Centuries ago, particularly during the Muslim period of Indian history, Sufi saints used to do similar things, as the first step to convert the Hindus, Buddhists, Jains and others to Islam. And those converts later waged Jihad against their coreligionists of the yesteryear. So, it is not difficult to understand that Mike Ghouse (and his father and mother) is using same taqiyyah of converting people to Islam.

Mike Ghouse tells us that he draws inspiration from the lives of great men like Prophet Mohammad, Mahatma Gandhi, Jesus Christ, Mother Theresa, Gautama Buddha, Krishna, Guru Nanak, Martin Luther King Jr., father Abdul Rahman, mother Khairun Nisa and so on. In this context, one should know that some Sufi saints in the past went to the extreme of even worshipping Hindu gods and goddesses to fool the Hindus and to draw them to Islam, who eventually became haters of the Hindus and their faith.

Taqiyyah: The Islamic Principle of Holy Deception

To explain the Arabic word TAQIYAH, Hughes Dictionary of Islam says, “Literally it means “Guarding oneself”. (It’s a) Shi’ah doctrine. A pious fraud whereby a Shi’ah Muslim believes he is justified in either smoothing down or in denying the peculiarities of his religious belief, in order to save himself from religious persecutions. A Shi’ah can, therefore, pass himself off as a Sunni to escape persecution.”

“The Shi’ah traditionalists relate that certain persons inquired of the Imam Sadiq if the Prophet had ever practiced taqiyyah or “religious dissimulations”, and the Imam replied:”Not after this verse was sent down to the Prophet, namely Surah v71: ‘O thou Apostle! Publish the whole of what has been revealed to those from thy Lord; if thou do it not, thou, thou hast not preached His message, and God will not defend thee from the wicked men; for God guides not the unbelieving people. When the Most High became surety for the Prophet against harm, then he no longerdissimulated, although before this revelation appeared he had occasionally done so.”[1]

Commenting on the Islamic practice of taqiyyah, noted scholar Babu Susilan writes: “Under the Islamic concept of Al-Takkeya, it is legitimate for Muslims to lie, cheat, murder, deceive and violate non-Muslims. According to Takkeya, Muslims are sanctioned to communicate with fake sincerity. In reality, they may have just the opposite agenda in their hearts. It is clear that Islam permits the Muslims to lie anytime, anywhere to promote the cause of Islam."

To narrate how a law-abiding non-Muslim society is harmed by this dirty concept of Islamic taqiyyay, he writes, “The concept of Al-Takeyya (lying) for the cause of Islam bears gross implications for freedom loving, law abiding non-Muslims. Muslims can negate any agreement, cheat, deceive, lie, and absolve from any permanent commitment. When a Muslim says "Islam is peace", watch out. When a Muslim shout "Allah loves you", he mean "Allah hates you" unless you are a Muslim.”

He adds: "There are many incidences in the life of Mohammed where he often lied and instructed his followers to do the same. A good example is the assassination of Kaab Ibn Ashrf, a member of the Jewish tribe, Banu al-Nudair. Mohammed ordered his assassination by deception, lying and tricks. Mohammed also ordered the murder of Shaalan by deception and lying. Islamic history is replete with incidents of murder and assassination by deception”.[2]

In his article, The principle of Al-Takeyya, the author says, “The Arabic word, “Takeyya”, means “to prevent,” or guard against. The principle of Al Takeyya conveys the understanding that Muslims are permitted to lie as a preventive measure against anticipated harm to one’s self or fellow Muslims. This principle gives Muslims the liberty to lie under circumstances that they perceive as life threatening. Islamic scholars believe that Muslims can even deny the faith publicly, declaring them non-Muslims, for saving their lives, if they do not mean it in their hearts, following the Quranic verse (3:28):

“Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah: except by way of precaution (prevention), that ye may Guard yourselves from them (prevent them from harming you.). But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself; for the final goal is to Allah."

So, in simple words, taqiyyah is an example of Islamic style of deception, originated in the Koran, which Muslims profusely use to deceive and fool the non-Muslims. This manifests to what degree, Islam permits a Muslim to indulge in lying and cheating the infidels.

Two Faces of Koran

It is now well-known that the Muslims play many tricks and tell even dark lies to deceive and fool the infidels, such as they say that Islam means peace, kafir means an atheist, jihad means war between good and evil forces inside a man and so on. They also deceive the kafirs in another ingenious way. There are some verses of Koran, which, on the surface, appear to be tolerant and innocent. For example:

1. “Allah does not love the oppressors” (3.140),
2. “Allah has prepared painful punishments for the oppressors” (14.22),
3. “Allah does not love them who creates indiscipline” (5.64),
4. “Allah does not like jealousy and aggressiveness” (57.23),
5. “Allah loves patience and forgiveness” (42.43),
6. “Your religion (is dear) to you and my religion (is dear) to me” (109.6),
7. “The Prophet has no other duty but to propagate the message of Allah” (5.99) and so on and so forth.

When these verses are uttered before the infidels, many of them, out of ignorance, think and admit that the Koran has a tolerant, humane and innocent message. In this context, it is very important to mention that before a non-Muslim audience, the Muslim speakers make frequent use of the verse “Your religion to you and my religion to me”, to pretend that, Islam is basically a very tolerant religion.

The Koran contains over 6 thousands verses (ayahs) divided into 114 chapters (suras). All these verses of the Koran can be broadly divided into two categories: 1) Makki verses, and 2) Madini verses. The early verses revealed to Muhammad when he was staying at Mecca, are called Makki verses; those, revealed after his migration to Medina, are called Madini verses. Before his migration (hijrat) to Medina, the Prophet was a humble servant of Allah and a good husband of his only wife Khadija, without enjoying any economic, political or military power. And Allah, in consonance with the situation, revealed tolerant and innocent verses alone.

But after his migration to Medina, the Prophet became the administrator, the chief of the army and the judiciary of Medina. In other words, he became the sole and supreme dictator of Medina. After acquiring so much of power, the idea of spreading Islam by the sword came to his mind, and he invented the doctrine of jihad. It may be recalled that so long the Prophet was in Mecca, Allah forbade war for the Muslims. But after the hijrat, Allah could make the right sense of Muhammad's might and, duly, made fighting obligatory for every able Muslim. From that time on, Allah began revealing violent verses of jihad, such as “There is nothing in the sight of Allah which may be equated to jihad.” (9.19) and “No equal are those believers who sit at home (except those who are old and disabled) and those who strive hard and fight with their wealth and lives in the cause of Allah” (4.95). “That is because they (who sit back at home) suffer neither thirst, nor fatigue, nor hunger in the cause of Allah. …Nor they raise the anger of the disbelievers or inflict any injury (killing, robbing or taking captive) upon enemy” (9.20). “Anyone whose feet get covered with dust in Allah’s cause will be forbidden from the hell-fire” (Bukhari 4.66).

Allah rebuked those, who sit back at home for their cowardice, and threatened them with cruel punishments, as the Koran says: “If you march not forth (for jihad), I will punish you with painful torment and will replace you with other people” (9.39). It is needless to say that these verses of violence and bloodshed have inspired Muslims, from the days of Muhammad itself, to massacre the kafirs en masse by launching jihad against them with the final goal of establishing an empire of Islam over the whole world. It should also be noted here that, this change of modus operandi of Muhammad/Allah for the spread of Islam officialized the Islamic principle of taqiyyah and has been in force ever since.

Taqiyyah to convert the infidels of Medina

After migrating to Medina, Muhammad/Allah initially held back from revealing the Madini verses or kept them concealed amongst his Meccan disciples and used the Makki verses to attract the infidels of Medina to Islam. But as soon as the Muslim population grew into a sizable amount and Muhammad could form a criminal gang with his uncle Hamza, his cousins and other loyal Muslim hooligans, the Makki verses were thrown out and the newly-revealed Madini verses were used to inspire his gang to engage in violence and terror. Especially after the victory in the Battle of Badr, Muhammad started to convert the infidels of Medina by threat and violence.

With Allah's reveled verses to strike terror into the hearts of the infidels, Muhammad, in compliance, assassinated poets Kaab bin Asraf, poet Abu Afak and poetess Asma, drove the Jews of Beni Kanuika and massacred 800 Jews of Beni Koraiza. So, taqiyyah, or deceiving the infidels, with the Makki verses of the Koran for conversion, lost its importance and jihad or violence came to the fore.

But the practice of taqiyyah in still alive and the Muslims are playing the same trick even today. Whenever the Muslim preachers talk about Islam in a civilized forum, they, to hide the bloody face of Islam, always utter the Makki verses of the Koran, knowing full well that most of those Makki verses were abrogated (elnasekh wal mansoukh, i.e. cancelled and replaced) by violent and bloody passages that were revealed after Muhammad’s migration to Medina.

In this context, it should be pointed out here that, after the September 11 attacks, many television channels broadcast interviews with Muslim reporters, intellectuals and religious leaders and the people of the print-media. In all such cases, to fool the kafirs, Muslim journalists, clerics and political leaders quoted Makki verses alone from the Koran, especially the verse "Your religion to you and my religion to me." (109:6)

In a country where Muslims are still a minority, they always make use of the Makki verses, but as soon as they gain majority or become strong in muscle power, they turn to the Madini verses for launching a jihad. For example, in India, when the Muslims come to Hindu populated areas, they never utter a Madini verse. But the same Muslims in their Muslim-dominated areas propagate Madini verses from mosques with loud-speakers to scare away the minority Hindus of that locality. Thus, under unfavorable situations, Muslims make use of the principle taqiyyah by projecting the Makki verses and keeping bloody weapons concealed; and in a favourable situation, they switch over to the Madani verses and unsheathe swords.

Origin of Taqiyyah

In order to understand the Islamic mind and the policy of taqiyyah, one has to understand the preliminaries of the Arab Bedouin Tribal culture in which Islam was born. Starting his prophetic career in a culture based upon tribalism and the hard nomadic values of tribal warfare, Muhammad started raiding neighbouring non-Muslim communities, taking over their women and children as slaves and concubines, their possessions, their stock and their grazing lands, and killing their men with the exception of those, who would accept Islam.

The Arabs, mainly illiterate but cunning, were also extremely proud and arrogant, especially the men. The masculine Arab culture placed a very high value on ‘honour and shame’ associated with his place in the social order of his family, his tribal group, or his society. It was extremely important that he must not suffer ‘a loss of face’. The importance of honour and status is so important that it often justified ‘honour killings’ within the family, a tradition which Islamic societies still nurture and value. Blood feuds and vendettas were, and still are, maintained for generations to defend the honour of long-dead ancestors. Mohammed himself ordered the vengeful murder of all those who mocked or satirized him, as he was an Arab and the potential loss of face was unacceptable.

“Lying and cheating in the Arab world is not really a moral matter but a method of safeguarding honour and status, avoiding shame, and at all times exploiting possibilities, for those with the wit and cunning for it, deftly and expeditiously to convert shame into honour on their own account and vice versa for the opponents. If honour so demands it, lies and cheating may become absolute imperatives.”[3]

Thus, by skilful manipulations, dissimulation, deceiving, lying, confounding or deflection of accusations, it is possible to foil or block or fend off an attack or accusation, and thus turn a humiliation into a positive outcome and the save one’s face or life. This same skill, then a part of the tribal Bedouin Arab life, has been adopted into the Islamic way of life in the defence and protection of Islam. This skill is known as ‘Taqiyya’ and greatly enhances the capabilities of Muslims to defend and promote Islam. This skill, Taqiyya, comes so naturally to Muslims that they are not even aware that they are using it to communicate dissimulate Islamic information to the less informed. It is a part of their way of life since childhood. This trait can also be observed in many other cultures especially in the East.

To give a few examples of Taqiyya as an illustration, Muslims will deny that “terrorist suicide bombers killed innocent people” were Muslims who were responsible for the 9/11 attacks on the twin towers in New York. And they are right because Muslims do not approve of Suicide (Haram), so they could not have been Muslims) and wanton murder of innocent people (but Muslims do not consider non-Muslims as innocent. They are the enemy and so are legitimate targets.). So Muslims may safely say that they condemn any terrorist acts, because terrorists are not identifiable as Muslims. But Muslims knew that these were acts of Islamic Jihad, and thus were truthful in denying it was “an act of terrorism” by Muslims, because they were actually “acts of martyrdom” or Jihad not “terrorism.” (ref. 3)

Who is Imam Abdul Rauf: Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf is an Arab-American imam and an author. He has been Imam of Masjid al-Farah, a New York City mosque, for 25 years. Recently, the U.S. State Department has appointed him an ambassador to the Arab world.

He has written three books on Islam and its place in contemporary Western society, and has founded two non-profit organizations, whose collective mission is to enhance the discourse on Islam in society. Starting in the spring semester of 2009, he has been an Associate Professor of Islamic Studies at St. Joseph's College's Brooklyn Campus in Brooklyn, New York. Abdul Rauf has, thus, emerged as a leader in the American Muslim community through his work as a bridge builder between American society, the American Muslim community and the wider Muslim World.

Though he claims that he is an activist for improvement in relations between the Muslim World and the West, his hidden Islamic agenda, like all pious Muslims, is to increase Muslim population in the US, establish the Sharia Law, and finally to turn the U.S.A. into an Islamic Country, a dar-ul-Islam.

In 1997, Abdul Rauf founded the American Society for Muslim Advancement (ASMA), a civil society organization aimed at promoting positive engagement between American society and American Muslims. The organization is now headed by his wife, Daisy Khan. In 2003, Abdul Rauf founded the Cordoba Initiative, another registered nonprofit organization with offices in New York and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As the CEO of the Cordoba Initiative, Abdul Rauf coordinates projects that emphasize on the bonds that connect the Muslim World and the West.

As said above, behind all such sweet words and apparently innocent efforts, there lurks his ultimate goal as a Muslim – How to turn America into an Islamic state and that too in the quickest possible time. Every American must believe that they can even trust a poisonous snake, but not a pious Muslim like Imam Feisal, who pretends to be a friend of Christian Americans. The all-knowing and all-powerful Allah has permitted Muslims to lie as necessary and do any mischief to deceive non-Muslim kafirs for the benefit of Islam. Perhaps many non-Muslims now-a-days know that the all-merciful Allah has put merit for such cheating of the kafirs, called taqiyyah. So, it is no surprise that Imam Feisal would employ taqiyyah to fool the kafirs of U.S.A. and hence to obtain Allah’s blessings.

Taqiyyah by Abdul Rauf

While speaking at his mosque in New York in 2004, Imam Feisal said: "The Islamic method of waging war is not to kill innocent civilians. But it was Christians in the World War II, who bombed civilians in Dresden and Hiroshima, neither of which were military targets."

It is not difficult to understand that what Feisal Abdul said about the Quran was blatant lies; in verses of the Koran, Allah instructs Muslims to kill innocent infidels. In a video clip “Slaughtering innocent non-Muslims is justified in Islam”, a Muslim cleric explains why Allah has permitted them to kill innocent non-Muslims and how Prophet Muhammad, following Allah’s guidance, massacred the Jews of Beni Koraiza of Medina. Another video shows interview with a suicide bomber. When he is asked – “Why you kill innocent non-Muslims, even children by blowing you up?” he replied, “No non-Muslim, including their children are innocents. They are guilty of refusing Allah and his Prophet Muhammad and hence they are fit to be killed.”

In a "60 Minutes" interview shortly after the September 11 attacks, Imam Rauf said: "Fanaticism and terrorism have no place in Islam" , adding: "I wouldn't say that the United States deserved what happened, but the United States policies were an accessory to the crime that happened." When the interviewer asked Rauf how he considered the U.S. an accessory, the Imam replied: "Because we have been accessory to a lot of innocent lives dying in the world. In fact, in the most direct sense, Osama bin Laden is made in the USA.”

During an interview on New York WABC radio in June 2010, Imam Rauf declined to say whether he agreed with the U.S. State Department's designation of Hamas as a terrorist organization. Responding to the question, Rauf said: "I'm not a politician. I try to avoid the issues. The issue of terrorism is a very complex question... I am a peace builder. I will not allow anybody to put me in a position where I am seen by any party in the world as an adversary or as an enemy."

In December 2009, Imam Feisal announced plans to build the Cordoba House, a giant 13-story community center, including a mosque that would accommodate 1,000 - 2,000 Muslims in prayer, two blocks away from the Ground Zero, winning non-binding support from the local Community Board, as well as some elected officials, but also attracting protests from some families of the 9/11 victims, politicians, civil society organizations, academics and others. The Imam's wife, Daisy Khan, who is the executive director of ASMA, speaking at a public hearing in Lower Manhattan on May 25, 2010, was widely quoted as having said that building a community center two blocks from Ground Zero was "no big deal". The building of the mosque and community center, as well as the initiative itself, was criticized even by some Muslims, such as Sufi mysticist Suleiman Schwartz, who said that a building built by Rauf barely two blocks from the Ground Zero, is inconsistent with Sufi philosophy of simplicity of faith and sensitivity towards others.

On another occasion, Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf said that jihad warfare was started by the West and can only be ended by the West. But in fact, the doctrine of violent jihad is an essential part of the Koran; hence it an Islamic tradition and has been in force since the birth of Islam. So, his comment forces one to believe the Imam is either a lunatic or is ignorant of Islam. The Koran says that jihad is the best way to worship Allah and jihad for a single day is equivalent to a thousand day’s prayer. From these examples, one can estimate the kind of lies Muslims like Imam Feisal would resort to in the interest of Islam for deceiving the nonbeliever kafirs.

One of Imam Feisal's book is: What's Right with Islam: a New Vision for Muslims and the West (HarperCollins, 2004). In it, he suggests that the “American Constitution and system of governance uphold the core principles of Islamic law” (i.e. sharia). And he thus concludes that the “American political structure is sharia-compliant.” In December 2007, Rauf promoted What's Right with Islam at a Malaysia gathering of Hizb ut Tahrir, which seeks to impose sharia globally.

In July 2010, journalist Andrew McCarthy reported that this book was originally published in Malaysia under a different title: A Call to Prayer from the World Trade Center Rubble: Islamic Dawa in the Heart of America Post-9/11.[i] This original title of the book obviates the motive and contents of the book. More astonishingly, a special, non-commercial edition of the book was reproduced, with the Imam’s cooperation, by the Islamic Society of North America and the International Institute of Islamic Thought. Both these organizations are American tentacles of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Brigitte Gabriel on Abdul Rauf

While talking to Fox News, Brigitte Gabriel said: “Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf has said publicly that September 11 attack was not perpetrated by the Muslims. He said publicly on CNN that Osama bin-Laden was made in the United States... So, what type of teaching will be done in the mosque if it gets built? We shall have to understand the lineage of Feisal Rauf. His father came out of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), the oldest terrorist organization in the world. He was in MB with the aim and al-Jawahiri, the second man in Al Qaeda. He was kicked out of Egypt and sent to Kuwait where Abdul Rauf was born and the father came to USA and set up an Islamic Center in 1965 in New York City, funded by 49 Islamic countries… They are using our laws and our open-mindedness against us.”

Debate between Tim Brown and the Imam

In a television debate, titled “Leader of Ground Zero Mosque Refuses to Disclose the Source of Funding”, between 9/11 fire-fighter Tim Brown and Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, on the proposed 13-storey mosque at the Ground Zero, Brown asked the Imam: “Why it is so close to the terrorist attack site?” The Imam replied: “Because we want the whole world to know that the Muslims condemn the 9/11. We have been condemning 9/11 in the loudest possible terms and since then we want to make sure that the message is heard loud and clear. Terrorism and extremism does not distinguish men of different faiths and ethnic communities...”

Tim Brown then said that he has talked with the affected families and they are not happy with the project. And according to their version: “A Trojan Horse is being pushed into the most sacred ground, the Ground Zero. We have so many of our family members and friends died.” Tim Brown continued: “I appreciate the Imam what is he saying. I have a question for him – Where from the millions and millions of dollars in cash come from?” ...Another question: Although he says that the Muslim community has come up strongly against radical Islamism and terrorism (but we failed to notice that).

In his reply, the Imam said, “Well, we have several thousand people, more than a thousand people are Muslims work in the financial district; they are among the supporters. I have worked with the FBI, in fact, after 9/11. I was invited to lecture to all fronts of FBI agents, on how we the Muslims and Muslim leaders can participate with the law enforcing agencies to ensure that this kind of debate may happen, and what is called as extremism coming from our community does not happen.”

Tim Brown asked again: “Where from the 3.8 million dollars come?” The Imam replied: “It comes from our community. We have members, who are very successful members of this community: The American community, the financial community.”

Let's stop for a while to assess what the Imam wants to say. Firstly, the reader should recall that what President Obama had said in his Cairo speech were blackest lies and Imam Feisal was an author of it. So it's easy to understand that what type of a liar he is. Now let us see how he adds more lies and deception to his repertoire in above debate. He told Tim Brown that "We have been condemning 9/11 in the loudest possible terms", which contradicts his previous statements that September 11 attack was not perpetrated by the Muslims. He said publicly on CNN that Osama bin-Laden was made in the United States. Yet, all 19 people connected to the 9/11 attacks were Muslims, mostly from Saudi Arabia. Moreover, in contrast to Imam's claim, nobody ever heard Muslims condemning the 9/11 attack loudly. Instead, the world witnessed rejoicing and celebration on streets of the Muslim world. The Middle East was flooded by the joyous dances on the streets. In Palestine and in many other Islamic countries, Muslims took out procession to celebrate the day holding placards that read “Death to America”.

Instead of condemning the 9/11 attacks loud and clear, it has been a cause for celebration and a source of inspiration for Muslims. For example, on the streets of Europe, such as in the U.K., we witness Muslims shouting slogans: "Magnificent 19" referring to the 9/11 perpetrators, "May Osama bin-Laden bomb you”, “Nuke, Nuke USA” etc.

Muslim Leaders' Taqiyyah in India

“The Darul Uloom Deoband is an Islamic school propagating Sunni Islam in India. It is located at Deoband, a town in Uttar Pradesh, India. It was founded in 1866 by several prominent Islamic scholars (ulema), headed by Maulana Muhammad Qasim Nanautawi. The other prominent founding scholars were Maulana Rashid Ahmad Gangohi and Haji Syed Abid Hussain. The institution is highly respected across the India, as well as in other parts of the Indian subcontinent.”

Seven years after the 9/11 attacks, reported TNN on January 1, 2008, for the first time ever the Darul-Uloom Deoband issued a fatwa against terrorism, stating that Islam had come to wipe out all kinds of terrorism and to spread the message of global peace. The fatwa, signed by Darul-Uloom’s grand mufti Habibur Rehman, asserted that "Islam rejects all kinds of unjust violence, breach of peace, bloodshed, murder and plunder and does not allow it in any form".

Citing the "sinister campaign" to malign "Islamic faith.. by linking terrorism with Islam and distorting the meanings of Quranic Verses and Prophet's traditions", Mahmood Asad Madani, leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, had wanted Deoband to spell out the stand of Islam on world peace.

The fatwa, issued at a huge gathering of Muslims, attending the Anti-Terrorism and Global Peace Conference in Delhi, went on to say: "It is proved from clear guidelines provided in the Holy Quran that allegations of terrorism against a religion which preaches and guarantees world peace is nothing but a lie. The religion of Islam has come to wipe out all kinds of terrorism and to spread the message of global peace. Allah knows the best."

"Killing of innocent people is not compatible with Islam. The biggest challenge faced by us today is terrorism (which) threatens to strike at the very root of the secular structure of our society besides causing irreparable loss," stated Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind leader Madani, an MP.

Usman, the deputy rector of Deoband Jamiat, said that many people, especially in the West, were carrying out a propaganda that terrorism was synonymous with jehad. He said that while terrorism is destructive, jehad is constructive. "Terrorism is the gravest crime as held by the Quran and Islam. We are not prepared to tolerate terrorism in any form and we are ready to cooperate with all responsible people," he said.

Inclusion of caveats like "unjust" and "innocent" etc. made fatwa falling short of unequivocal condemnation of terrorism. Even then, any observer of Islam with nominal knowledge of its scripture and history would know that every statement in the above fatwa on the peculiarities of Islam is outright false, Taqiyyah --- exactly opposite to what Islam stands for, to what the Quran preaches and to what Prophet Muhammad had practiced. Such fatwas by Muslim leaders, trying to assert that Islam means peace and those who are engaged in terrorist and other subversive acts, are not true Muslims and they ate doing this by transgressing the laws of Islam etc. are simply desperate and calculated efforts to cover for the horrendous acts Muslims have been committing all over the world, including in India. In reality, the word "terrorism" in English is equivalent to "jihad" in Arabic, and this jihad is the most important (military) component of Islam.

And, while announcement of fatwa received lukewarm response from the large exclusively male-Muslim gathering, they cheered most lustily when the speakers attacked the U.S. When Usman came down heavily on "the dual policy of America", the massive crowd cheered him up heartily. "Whenever Christian and American interests are hurt in any part of the world, they take prompt action to set things right even at the cost of human lives. They maintain silence though when Muslims are the victims," he said, in condemnation of the U.S. support for Israel.

The real purpose behind the Deoband's issuance of the said Fatwa is that many terrorist organizations are closely connected to the Darul ulum Deoband idealogy and inspiration. Hence, Deoband has lately been under intense focus, because many of the terrorist groups — from Taliban to Jaish and Harkat — are widely perceived to be Deobandi in orientation.
