The Coming of the Mahdi

The world is presently at its most wicked. It is beyond human help. It requires only a nudge to implode and prepare for the divine ruler, the Saheb-ul-Zaman (the Mahdi, the Lord of the Age) to come and set it aright. It is the sacred duty and privilege of every Muslim to do all he can to hasten the death of the old world and the birth of the global Islamic Ummah. Thus goes the thinking of Iran's ruling mullahs and their hand-picked president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

It seems like the old millennialism thinking. The belief in supernatural intervention to set the world aright is scriptural to major religions, including Islam. The Jews have been earnestly supplicating the Lord for the Messiah to come; the Christians are impatiently awaiting the second coming of Christ; and, the Zoroastrians are convinced that Saoshayant is the one who shall come, defeat the trouble-making Ahriman -- Satan -- and make the creatures again pure. But this time around, a group of believers with tremendous resources are intent upon forcing the issue, making the conditions so dire that they leave the reluctant Saheb-ul-Zaman no choice but to appear and assume his universal reign.

Up to this point millennialism was a belief and a hope. No one ever aspired to or had the means of making the anticipated events come about. The matter was in the hands of God. The Muslims' perennial prayer recited every day, posted in mosques and even on bumpers of vehicles has been, "O, Saheb-ul-Zaman, hasten your coming." The prayer for the advent, thus far, has been limited to passive supplications of the faithful.

It is a well-established fact that beliefs are potent impetus to action. If you believe your home is about to be burglarized, you secure the house and take other precautions. If you, under the influence of drugs, believe that a bug is burrowing into your skin, you may take a knife to your own body and try to dig the imaginary bug out.

Hence, it is shortsighted to dismiss the mullahs as a bunch of lunatics who are out of touch with reality and that they have no intention of doing catastrophic mischief to compel the Mahdi's coming -- maybe some arming of the Iraqi Shiites, a little support for Hezb'allah in Lebanon and Hamas in Palestine -- but no, no major idiocy. After all, they are rational people and in touch with reality. Any large-scale troublemaking spells their doom as well. Thus goes the rationalization -- the greatest risky tranquilizer of the mind.

Rationalization, compounded by complacency and denial, can be deadly, particularly when the adversaries have different realities. To the fanatic mullahs ruling Iran, Sahaeb-ul-Zaman is an absolute reality and his promised advent is irrevocably ordained. This is their reality and their belief and they have every intention of leading their life according to them.

It is foolish for non-Muslims to dismiss the mullahs and the likes of the Taliban as a bunch of fringe lunatics who are going to go away simply by wishing it. The Islamist reality is that non-Muslims are the ones who deserve to be done away with; they are the ones who have refused to submit to the summons of Allah for much too long; and, it is time for the faithful to get rid of them. This makes for a lopsided contest. The non-Muslims are passively wishing that nightmarish surge of Islamism is only a temporary fringe phenomenon doomed to die on its own, while the other side is marshaling its huge destructive power to accomplish its aim by eradicating non-Muslims.

The cabal of fanatical mullahs ruling Iran has lost its patience, not only with the unbelievers, but also with the Mahdi as well. They aim to force his arrival. The mullahs believe they have the means to make it impossible for the Mahdi to tarry any longer by causing unprecedented death and destruction -- conditions deemed essential for his coming. The world must hit the very bottom, before the savior of the world comes to the rescue, so they firmly believe.

The question is: What does prudence demand? Clearly wishing the problem to go away is not a very effective solution in the same way that wishing for the Saheb-ul-Zaman to come has not been. Reasoning and negotiating with the mullahs and their ilk hold very little, if any, lasting promise. There are always the easy ways of denial and appeasement. We are very good at both practices. No, the Muslims have been around for ages. They make some trouble from time to time. But they really are not all that bad and dangerous. We'll get along. If we have to, we'll even let them live by the Sharia -- their stone-age laws -- in our midst. We'll be reasonable and they will come around. We'll just have to get along. So goes the line.

One problem: The other side doesn't think this way. The Islamofascists don't believe in the notion of live and let live." They believe that the earth is Allah's and it has been sullied by the heathens, the unbelievers and the kafir for far too long. Now that they have the means, they aim to make the world to their design and bring about the final solution -- a nasty reminder of not too long ago Nazism.

Is this alarmist, or even hatemongering? You don't believe Muslims can be that intolerant and hostile toward non-Muslims and that they'll never go to the extremes? You know Muslims personally in your neighborhood or your workplace and they are nice people? The nice Muslims you personally know are presently small minorities in alien lands. They have to be nice, and they may indeed be nice. Yet, when the main force of Islam surges forward, these nice folks will either have to join it or be swept aside like the rest of the resisters.

The concern is not with individual Muslims who live as solid citizens in democratic societies. They may have developed a taste for the freedom democracy bestows or have simply learned to tolerate it. Our concern is with the gathering Islamic storm from the heart of Islamdom. To truly appreciate Islam, you must experience firsthand Islam in power. Take a quick trip to the lands of the Muslims and find out for yourself how horribly they treat the non-Muslims, even the "People of the book," Jews and Christians. Try to have a Bible study group or build a church in Saudi Arabia and discover the benevolence of Islamic rule.

I urgently call on President Obama and the Secretary of State Clinton to redirect the U.S. foreign policy in line with our nation's lofty ideals and principles. I urge the Administration to proclaim its unequivocal support for the Iranian people and back that claim with concrete effective peaceful actions. It is the best investment that the U.S. can make to attract the powerful nation of Iran as vital ally and concurrently refrain from foolishly undermining its present sole friend, Israel. Recall that it was Iranian people's massive magnificent movement against the re-election of the fraud Ahmadinejad that inspired the Arab Spring.

The world is a laboratory where the experiment with Islam shows irrefutable results. To the extent that Islam rules any society, that society is stagnant, backward thinking, repressive and violent. The Islamic Republic of Iran represents the cutting edge for the newly petrodollar-invigorated Islam. It is determined to complete its task of ending the world of "Dar-ul-Harb" -- the non-Muslim world to be warred upon -- and establishing the "Dar-ul-Solh," or "Dar-ul-Salam" -- the Muslim world of the Ummah under the rule of the Mahdi. If achieving this aim hinges on the conflagration of cataclysmic nuclear World War, the mullahs are happy to make it happen.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is the most controversial President of Iran. He has been criticized domestically for his economic lapses and disregard for human rights. His election to a second term in 2009 was widely rigged, which caused widespread protests domestically, and drew significant international criticism; the opposition parties, section of the traditional clerical circle and influential Iranian politicians questioned the legitimacy of his presidency. He is an outspoken critic of the United States, Israel, and United Kingdom. He abides by Iran's long-standing policy of refusal to recognize Israel as a legitimate nation or as representative of the region's population, but actively seeks Israel's destruction.

On 23 Sep. 2010, President Ahmadinejad again made offensive comments at the United Nations. While addressing the General Assembly, Ahmadinejad explained the reason for 9/11 attack by saying, “that some segments within the U.S. government orchestrated the attack to reverse the declining American economy, and its grips on the Middle East, in order to save the Zionist regime." "...The majority of the American people as well as most nations and politicians around the world agree with this view,” he claimed. He also asked for the formation of an independent fact-finding body to investigate the 9/11 attacks.

The reader may recall that in the past, Ahmadinejad called 9/11 as a conspiracy by the US and Israel, and accused both Israel and the U.S. for the attacks on 9/11. And his conspiracy theory is supported many Muslims around the world. According to a Pew Global survey, over half of the British Muslims and a fifth of U.S. Muslims believe in Ahmadinejad's conspiracy theory of a US-Israeli hand behind the 9/11 attacks.

It should be noted here that Islam cannot survive without telling lies; hence Muslim leaders don't hesitate to say even the most outrageous lies. Sometimes, it becomes difficult for ordinary non-Muslims to fathom how leaders and head of nations of the Muslim world can tell such blatant lies loudly and repeatedly.

Michael Moore Dedicates Himself for the Cause of Islam

Michael Francis Moore (born April 23, 1954) is an American filmmaker, author and liberal political commentator. He is the director of many movies and to name of the few are Bowling for Columbine, Fahrenheit 9/11, Sicko, and Capitalism: and also many documentaries. A Love Story, four of the top nine highest-grossing documentaries of all time.^[3] In September 2008, he released his first free movie on the Internet, Slacker Uprising, documenting his personal crusade to encourage more Americans to vote in presidential elections.^[4] He has also written and starred in the TV shows TV Nation and The Awful Truth.

Born in Flint and raised in Davison, Michigan, Moore was brought up as a Roman Catholic and had even intended to join the seminary. Now a self-described liberal, Moore has criticized globalization, large corporations, assault weapon ownership, the Iraq War, U.S. President George W. Bush and the American healthcare system in his written and cinematic works.

Moore is a noted sympathizer of Muslims. In a recent interview with CNN, self-loathing Michael Moore, he not only supported the proposed building of a controversial mosque near the Ground Zero, he proposed it be built on the Ground Zero itself. He boldly opined, “I am opposed to the building of the “mosque” two blocks from Ground Zero. I want it built on Ground Zero.”

In this connection, the reader may recall that “Muslim immigrants of America led by Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf planned to build a mosque along with a Muslim cultural center near Ground Zero. Initially the project was named Cordova Islamic center. Cordova being a name of a city in Spain, the name has a historic significance. In the middle ages, Cordova was the center of Islamic culture and the seat of an Islamic Caliphate (Muslim Ruler). Under the rule of the Caliphate, all non-Muslims, including Jews and Christians were subjugated to Islam.”(Wikipedia Encl)

When the little secret was exposed, Imam Rauf changed the name of the project to Park51. Michael Moore not only wants the proposed mosque be built near the Ground Zero, he is also actively raising money for the project. According to his website, he already has raised $50,000, which he will donate to Imam Rouf. (ibid).

On the day of 9/11 this year, Moore appealed to his supporters to donate for the cause and promised to match up to $10,000. However, he was able to raise 5 times more than originally planned. The names of the contributors are unknown. They can either be enthusiastic Muslims or Dhimnis like Moore.

Mike Ghouse

Mike Ghouse is an Indian-born Muslim. He has changed his original Muslim name (probably from Muhammad to Mike), perhaps to camouflage his Islamic identity. In fact, he was born and raised in Yelahanka, a suburb of Bangalore, India. His father M. Abdul Rahman was India's freedom fighter and the Mayor of the Town of Yelahanka (1952-53). And his Mother’s name was Khairun Nisa.

Many authors inform us that both his father and mother were pluralists, and their influence made Mike a pluralist, too. Some authors even say that his father used to recite pluralistic verses of the Koran. But those, who have read the Koran and know a little about Islam, will refuse to accept such a notion. In fact, there is not even a single verse in the Quran that may be called pluralist. Basically, Koran is a book of hatred that instructs Muslims to kill the entire polytheistic population on the earth and to subjugate the monotheists like Jews and Christians in order to bring the whole world under the banner of Islam. So the claim that his father and mother were pluralistic Muslims is a blatant lie; and Mike Ghouse, in propagating these stories, is lying as part of sacred Islamic ploy of taqiyyah.

Mike Ghouse once said, "My kids Jeff and Mina (Jazzie) have excited me with their fresh perspectives on life and God. All my inspirers have frequently helped me see the world from another point of view, i.e., respecting all creation and "live and let live" point of view.” Here Ghouse played another taqiyya. Allah, the God of his faith, Islam, does not believe in the notion “Live and let live.” In so many verses of the Islamic holy book Koran, Allah says: Islam is the only religion Allah approves; in other words: Let Muslims live and all others perish.

Elsewhere Ghouse says: “My intuitive pluralism and ZERO prejudice has it's origins in Islam, Hinduism, Jainism and Christianity, many consider me to be a Baha'i. I was pleased to hear someone called me a Jew as well, and I have been told by people of different faiths that I belong to them. Thanks to my father for unlocking me from a singular cell and opening multiple windows of knowledge for me."

This comment is another sample of his use of taqiyya and a terrible lie. His intuitive pluralism and ZERO prejudice might have come from Hinduism, Jainism or Buddhism or from any other religions originated in INDIA, but certainly not from Islam.

On another occasion, he said: "A good Muslim is a good Hindu, is a good Christian, is a good Jew, and is a good human being."

This is another piece of his taqiyyah. A good and pious Muslim is a terribly dangerous person for the people of other faiths. The Koran says:

• But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem of war; but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. (Quran 9:5)
• Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Messenger have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection. (Quran 9:29)
• you who believe! Fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness; and know that Allah is with those who guard. (Quran 9:123)

So, it is not difficult to understand that, if a Muslim becomes very pious and begins to do what Allah has commanded him to do in the Koran, what a dangerous person he/she would become for non-Muslims.

Many are convinced that Ghouse grew up enjoying and celebrating Hindu, Muslim, Jain, Parsee and Christian Festivals. He is grateful to his parents for the exposure he was given. "My family has come to believe that all festivals are meant to celebrate and share the joy with the people you know," writes Ghouse. Years later he produced a Radio show, called "Festivals of the World", where the essence and significance of every festival was shared on Saturdays.

Readers should understand that this is not a new technique. Centuries ago, particularly during the Muslim period of Indian history, Sufi saints used to do similar things, as the first step to convert the Hindus, Buddhists, Jains and others to Islam. And those converts later waged Jihad against their coreligionists of the yesteryear. So, it is not difficult to understand that Mike Ghouse (and his father and mother) is using same taqiyyah of converting people to Islam.

Mike Ghouse tells us that he draws inspiration from the lives of great men like Prophet Mohammad, Mahatma Gandhi, Jesus Christ, Mother Theresa, Gautama Buddha, Krishna, Guru Nanak, Martin Luther King Jr., father Abdul Rahman, mother Khairun Nisa and so on. In this context, one should know that some Sufi saints in the past went to the extreme of even worshipping Hindu gods and goddesses to fool the Hindus and to draw them to Islam, who eventually became haters of the Hindus and their faith.

A Look into the Psychology of Dictators

The behaviour of dictators like Ahmadinejad, Ghadafi, Idi Amin et al., is not solely a funny subject for people, a witty personage for media, and a caricature for satirists. There behaviour has the potential of causing catastrophe for a whole nation. They represent an Islamic, authoritarian or even totalitarian regime, which is morally bankrupt and, thus, they can commit any wrongdoing without any moral scruples.

While many psychopaths are incarcerated in psychiatric hospitals and penal institutions, it has been recognised that a few of them were clever enough to enter the history of mankind, creating catastrophes. All these misfits need to rule is an insane ideology or belief system, through which, they surround themselves with mad people, devoted followers and blind killers, who are equally clueless about what it means to be a feeling human being.

Psychopath as Leaders

Though it was in the nineteenth century that doctors began to elucidate the nature of that disturbing category of human beings that we now call psychopaths, history shows that they have always been with us. A mad leader can be mad about an ideology, religion or cult, as Hitler is a symbol of Nazism, Stalin of irreparably degraded communism, and Khomeini of actualized political Islam. Megalomania is a common character for any dictator. It's no wonder that we had Hitler as 'Führer', Nero who exalted himself to a god, Stalin who became father of the Russians. All of them used their intelligence in the service of their immoral drives (belief, aggression, power). They use lofty words and emotional speech 'an easy thing for a fairly intelligent psychopath', but there is no substance in them. Being fairly bright, they learn how to imitate emotional expressions, suggestive of some higher emotions (compassion, sympathy, sociability, patriotism and morality), through which they fool the grassroots. However, they hardly fool any intellectual observer, because they ring hollow as there is no truth and authenticity in their words. Their fraudulent but emotional speeches distinguish them from sane leaders.

Fear

It is nothing new or surprising, a dictator in uniform or suit, also in a robe and turban, would never abandon the idea that he is above all. He would consider himself a God's handpicked leader. Therefore, lasting compromises with him are impossible and, thus, he would refuse to allow other ideas to cramp his authority. The guiding principles and policies they use are based on fear. Fear has always been used to silence people and groups in a population. Fear is widespread in all dictatorial systems. Fear is a powerful motivator in enforcing tolerance, obedience, and making people submit to authority, it is a pillar of religious and totalitarian systems. Fear from god or State has always been tangibly present in all totalitarian, religious, and cult systems, such as Italy under Mussolini, Nazi Germany under Hitler, China under Mao, the Soviet Union under Stalin, and Iran under the Islamic regime. The threat of punishment, torture and being killed is widely dispersed enough to cause fear. Fear has systematically been spread by state and religious institutions throughout history.

The psychopathic Signs

According to psychologists, dictators are the individuals whose narcissism is so extreme and grandiose that they exist in a kind of splendid isolation in which the creation of the grandiose self takes precedence over legal, moral or interpersonal commitments. While the psychopath gives no real affection, he is quite capable of inspiring affection of sometimes fanatical degree in others. Indeed, he has no genuine human qualities, but opportunistically adapts himself to any situation. This is not a normal type of behavior we need to adjust ourselves to, but purely an opportunistic trick.

Psychopaths have no human feelings

Psychopaths have no feeling of guilt or remorse no matter what happens. A good example is the famous Khomeini's response when he was asked about his feeling in his flight to Iran after 15 years in exile, when he surprised a whole nation by saying: 'I have no feeling on my return to Iran!' His spontaneous, unscripted and unadvised reaction to a simple obvious question that would require him to express either empathy or caring and compassion for others, including the millions of his followers waiting enthusiastically for his arrival, shows his real side and his lack of human feelings. Although this little statement in itself was very revealing, it was not seriously taken in consideration at the time. Khomeini's fumbling with statements and phraseology was not a proof that he was merely unintelligent in the conventional sense, but also showed a typical apathy, no sense of concern for his people.

Psychopathic dictators are not alone

It seems that a dictator is often a product of a whole system. So, a mad dictator is not alone in the arena, his mad followers and supporters are the most reliable helps for him. A dictator would not win without his followers' help. A dictator's subordinate has to be a devoted followers and blindly obedient. Without them Khomeini, Pol Pot, Stalin etc. would not succeed in forming their dictatorship and sacrificing millions of lives. Devotees are there to cheer, identify, arrest, torture, and kill innumerable individuals as a sign of their loyalty to their leader. In other words, the more devoted they are, the more dictatorial the leader will be, and the more cold-blooded. Even though some of the devoted followers can be the future pathetic victims of the beloved leader, some remain so mesmerised that their last words before execution can be 'Heil Hitler!' or 'Long live Stalin!' Hitler's and Stalin's purges of his communist comrades showed that depth of devotion. In reality, Hitler, Stalin and Pol Pot were not born despotic, but became, at least for a period, heroes of people. People, especially powerless and politically underdeveloped members, rally around their 'heroes', seeing in them both a reflection of themselves and a promise of a 'victory' that would release their fears and frustrations, and avenge their sorry and hopeless fate. Of course what they do not realise is that their leaders would not care about people's fate. To such fanatical leaders, people are an echo chamber for their words and cannon fodder for their beliefs.

Religious leaders

Normally, political or cult leaders have an outstanding ability to charm and win over followers. They are good at rhetoric and present plausible solutions for any problem. They beguile and seduce through certain logic, but this is not the case for all leaders. Khomeini did not have such an intellectual ability. He was not even able to properly speak Farsi. His success at garnering attention was due to a fatal lack of honesty; many doubted his credentials but did not dare to say so. This is another odd subject to see how a character like Khomeini could seduce his followers. Even later, when Khomeini learnt to answer questions on advice of his advisors who reminded him to be sensitive, he could hardly express his sympathy for his people. Amazingly, this lack of emotion was rarely a problem for his followers. The devotees never expected Khomeini to be assimilated to their genuine problems or even to their Iranian identity.

Islamic leadership

All religions share, to one degree or another, a denial of the modern and civilised world. All 'true' believers subscribe to a belief in delightful ideals of their archaic thoughts. Religious fanatics believe in a selective class of elite believers (Mullahs /priests /rabbis etc.). They eliminate the possibility of any critical thought. While all these aspects are true for most religions, they are particularly flagrant in Islam and practiced in its political form. The Islamic regime as a recent example of a political Islam characterises the dark period of the Inquisition in a time that the civilised world had already many centuries far from the effects of the Inquisition. However, the difference between these two archaic systems is the danger of religious ideology, which not only is found in mentalities as before but also in methodologies of Islamism. Islam as today practiced, denies the civilised world and forces an unhealthy backwardness of society. In its paranoid and naive fashion, it develops its own perverse ideology of a new 'Dar-al-Islam' (territory of Islam), pushing the methods of divine violence into an extreme and dangerous level of a jihadist strategy.

When a dictator is enthroned

It is in the realm of politics that the psychopath is at his worst. While seemingly in full possession of his political ability, the psychopathic leader demonstrates an inability to comprehend the meaning and significance of his own faults. This is why he never tries to remedy the faults; instead he punishes critics. The psychopath dictator is often astounded to find that people are upset by his exploits, as acknowledged by some enthroned despots. Although he knows intellectually what punishment is decreed for certain crimes, when caught for the same crimes, he puts up elaborate rationalisations and defences, and seems surprised when he is actually punished, as seen in Saddam's process.

Dictator's followers

Our psychopathic dictator needs obedient followers. Such devotees are free of remorse. They can be under rare circumstances a national hero, war hero, symbol of pride, but mostly are traitors to their people. Some will ultimately find out that they can lose the head if they desert the camp of leadership; otherwise they remain symbols of shame. If a psychopathic follower becomes a hero of the system, who is very rarely acceptable for his fellow country people, then his 'bravery' helps him to win the affection of his fellow followers, but he knows that people one day do not accord him a status of hero; he can be disillusioned by his subsequent comprehension, as shown by many deserters of totalitarian regimes including many ex-Islamists or ex-collaborators of the Islamic regime.

Royal psychopaths

Another aspect of the thoughtlessness is the obliviousness of the psychopath to punishment. Not only does the threat of future punishment have no power to deter him, but actual punishment does not reform him. All historical experience and most psychiatrists consider such psychopaths untreatable. It is historically proved that there is no way to handle psychopaths when they possess political power. Tragically, as a nation, we will remain in the dark ages as long as some of our people keep choosing or tolerating psychopaths as their leaders.

Ahmadinejad's Brinkmanship: Mecca and Medina Suffer the Fate of Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

A dangerous misstep by the Iranian madman Ahmadinejad may see the Islamic hate-centers of Mecca and Medina turned to ashes, probably unshering the end of Islam once and for all.

On December 7, 1941 Japanese forces attacked United States naval and air bases in the Hawaiian Islands and scored a major victory. Over 2,300 US military personnel lost their lives and the United States' Pacific fleet was completely devastated. It was a surprise attack for which US was not prepared. The next day President Franklin Roosevelt declared war against Japan, and described the Japanese attack as "a date which will live in infamy." (Montefiore, 2005, p. 105)

On September 9, 2011 a series of coordinated suicide attacks by al-Qaeda upon the United States caused death of estimated 3,000 innocent people. The mighty twin towers of the World Trade Center and surrounding buildings, and part of the Pentagon building collapsed. There were reports and even pictures of rejoicing on streets in the Arab and other Muslim world at the news of the attacks. A response came from Hamas weekly: “Allah has answered our prayers” (Lewis, 2003, p. 132,134). President George Bush addressed the Nation, “Today, our nation saw evil, the very worst of human nature”. (Richardson, 2006, p. 19)

Both December 7, 1941 and September 11, 2001 were tragic days in American history, because both were acts of aggression. Both incidents ignited passion, fueled patriotism and unity in the hearts of American, and united the nation on taking strong military action: one was declared and another undeclared (Congress has not officially declared war on Afghanistan).

Japan (one of the three major three Axis powers, another two were Germany and Italy) started attacking the United State's allies one after another, but US tried to remain away from the war. Pearl Harbor attack was an unprovoked Japanese crime. And as the U.S. declared war on Japan after Pearl Harbor attack, Germany declared war on the U.S. forcing President Roosevelt to declare war with Hitler, too.

Bush must have felt the same regarding Islamic terrorists after 9/11. Had these attacks been prevented, America might not have entered World War II or embarked on the ‘War on Terror’. In both cases, the sheer magnitude of the destruction led America to reassess its standing in the world and conclude that decisive action was absolutely required. Over the years few critics have disagreed with the above judgments.

There are some striking similarities between these two deadly attacks on America. Firstly, both were surprise attacks causing huge death and destruction. Coming without warning, like stabbing to its back, they made the US change its foreign policy drastically. Against Japan, the US started a conflict with a foreign country, while with the 9/11 attack, America entered in war against an invisible enemy, the international terrorist network of Al-Qaida, lead by Osama Bin Laden. The enemy was concentrated in the "wicked country", Afghanistan. Another similarity: In both cases, airplanes were involved, although for Pearl Harbor, Japanese military aircrafts (dive bombers, a torpedo plane, and a fighter aircraft) and, for the twin towers, civilian passenger planes, hijacked by suicide terrorists, were used.

Also, both attacks were carefully planned and succeeded, because intelligence services failed to break codes, or analyze the data in a prompt and timely manner. Of course, there are conspiracy theories that elements of the US administration, including the two Presidents, Roosevelt and Bush, could have at least eased or allowed these attack to change public opinion for diverting US policy toward direct intervention in a conflict, namely WWII, and against international terrorism. However, these conspiracy theories are entirely without merit and hence they are not part of present discussion.

Now let us look at the dissimilarities. In Pearl Harbor naval soldiers died and there were hardly any civilian death. In the 9/11 attacks, civilians died. For the Pearl Harbor attack, the U.S. destroyed Japan like no other country in its history. By executive order of President Truman, the US dropped the nuclear bomb "Little Boy" on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945, followed by the detonation of "Fat Man" over Nagasaki on August 9. Japan started an aggressive war and they refused to surrender even after and as did its big-brother ally Germany. Japan had to pay for it. The Second World War ended quickly with Japan’s surrender on August 15.

Today history is on the verge of repeating itself. There is a strange and out-of-the-world connection between 9/11 and Pearl Harbor. The Pearl Harbor bombing resulted in a nuclear disaster and then the end of Second World War. With the 9/11 attacks, war against terrorism started, but is still far from being won. With the end nowhere near in sight, it is worrying where and how will it all end up.

There is only one lesson we learn from history that we learn nothing from it. Neither Osama Bin Laden nor Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and others of their league learnt anything from Hiroshima. The New York Times reported that before 9/11 attacks, the U.S. had intercepted an Al-Qaeda message that Laden was planning a major attack against America. We understand that Laden is a terrorist, but what about Ahmadinejad? Being the President and the main political leader of an independent Nation, rich with oil revenue, how can he openly describe Israel as a "disgraceful blot" and say: "…Israel must be wiped off the map" (Alexander & Hoeing, 2008, p. 32,194) and “very soon this ‘stain of disgrace’ [Israel] will be purged from the centre of the Islamic world”? (Bostom, 2008, p. 149)

When a statesman openly expresses such a desire, heed should be paid. This new Hitler is racing against time to secure nuclear weapons, and is getting quite close to it. If his nuclear program continues to progress at its current rate, he will build a bomb before President Obama's current term in office expires.

Iran’s ballistic missile programme magnifies the threat. With technological help from North Korea, Iran fields a Shahab-3 missile whose 1300-km range encompasses Israel. This missile has the payload capacity (about 1tonne) and airframe diameter (greater than 1.2 m) necessary to carry a nuclear warhead. In September 2007, Iran was reported to be working on an 1800-km-range missile known as Ghadr-1. A further development of Shahab-3 is named Shahab-5 or BM-25 which has a range of 2500 km. It can reach many parts of Europe (Schiff, 2006). There are confirmed reports that Iran seeks to build Shahab-6 medium-range missiles with ranges of 4500 km to 5500 km, which would put most European cities including London within its range. All these missiles are capable to deliver weapons of mass destruction. According to a confirmed report, Iran had purchased twelve old X-55 cruise missiles from a Ukrainian black market, which can carry nuclear weapons and has a 3000-km range (Fitzpatrick, 2008, p. 17-8). It would be a grave mistake not to take Ahmadinejad seriously.

Ahmadinejad is a superstitious man. He is deeply committed to the Islamic Messiah, al-Mahdi, the ‘Hidden Imam’ yet to come. According to Shiite belief, this Imam can appear only when the world is in a state of chaos and subjugation. He is supposed to appear shortly before the Day of Judgment (Rippin, 2005, p. 127) and bring a law more perfect than the Shari’a (Pipes, 1983, p. 64). These bizarre Shiite stories had eaten away Ahmadinejad’s brain and made him delusional to such a degree that truth is a fairytale to him. He believes that he was “directed by Allah to pave the way for the glorious appearance of the Mahdi” and he is to personally prepare the world for the coming Mahdi (Young, 2009, p. 115). According to him, the real ruler of Iran is this occulted Imam (Nasr, 2007, p. 133-4). He even instructed his cabinet to sign a symbolic pledge of allegiance to the Imam.

Ahmadinejad is not a religious leader. He is a politician. He mixes religion with politics, or, more correctly, is using religious sentiment for political gain. Keeping in mind the terrible atrocities that have been perpetrated throughout history in the name of religion, anyone raised in a modern democratic society realizes the imperatives of separating religion and politics. Painful history has shown the great dangers that arise when these two are intertwined (Wangyal, 1975, p. 78). When God, religion and politics are mixed together, it produces deadly concoctions with terrible results. Today, this merchant of death is the most dangerous person in the world.

Delusional Ahmadinejad’s deep-seated hatred for Israel oozes from his every verbal exchange. While addressing a conference titled “The World without Zionism”, Ahmadinejad said (Alexander & Hoeing, 2008, p. 194):

“Anybody who recognizes Israel will burn in the fire of the Islamic nation's fury, [while] any [Islamic leader] who recognizes the Zionist regime means he is acknowledging the surrender and defeat of the Islamic world”.

Elsewhere Ahmadinejad stated (Babbin & Gingrich, 2007, p. 111): “For more than 50 years, the World Arrogance [United States] has tried to give recognition to the existence of this fake regime [Israel]....”

Iranian vice-president Sayed Ayatollah Mohajerani told Islamic Conference in Teheran in 1992 (U.S Congress, 1993, p. 165): “Since Israel continues to possess nuclear weapons, we, the Muslims, must cooperate to produce an atomic bomb, regardless of U.N. efforts to prevent proliferation.”

Former Iranian President Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani argued that nuclear weapons could solve the Israel problem, because “the use of a nuclear bomb in Israel will leave nothing on the ground, whereas it will only damage the world of Islam.” (Matas, 2005, p. 155)

According to Ahmadinejad, Israel is the most hated regime in the world. This Iranian warmonger thinks that he can fool the world with his lies. Israel is an island of freedom and prosperity in an area of Islamic darkness, suppression and backwardness. Today Israel is one of the most successful states in spite of severe military threats ever since its birth over 60 years ago, while Iran, despite its huge oil wealth, is miserably poor. The ideological brothers of Ahmadinejad are equally enthusiastic. We can safely ignore camera-loving bin Laden dying (already dead?) in a cave, but not the prominent Muslim leaders, who stressed the need for a nuclear weapon belonging collectively to Islam. Today these fanatics are more dangerous than bin Laden.

The notion of an Islamic bomb had existed long before 9/11. Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the architect of Pakistan's nuclear program, wrote in 1977 (Hussain, 2007, p. 158):

“We know that Israel and South Africa have full nuclear capability. The Christian, Jewish and Hindu civilizations have this capability. The communist powers also possess it. Only the Islamic civilization was without it, but that position was about to change”.

On that day when the nuclear devices were tested in Baluchistan, masses of Muslims rushed onto the streets of the major cities of Pakistan, shouting "Allahu Akabr! Allahu Akabr!!". They danced with joy around models of Pakistan's nuclear missile, marked "Islamic bomb". One student from the Islamic University of Islamabad in Pakistani capital said: "This is Islam's bomb. It has boosted our confidence, and will reinforce the solidarity of all Muslims faced with the West that rejects and despises us. Muslims unite behind the atomic bomb!"

Undoubtedly the Pakistanis saw in the bomb a sure sign of Allah’s mercy upon Muslims and a panacea for the ills that have plagued Muslims since the end of the so-called Golden Age of Islam. Friday sermons in mosques all over Pakistan emphasized the importance of Pakistan's nuclear bomb to Islam.

Two extremist leaders of Pakistan described the bombs as defense of the Muslim Ummah against the United States and Israel, the two great enemies of Allah. Today, it is an open secret that Pakistan will provide a “nuclear umbrella” for Arab countries in a crisis, though India is the main target. After all Pakistan had received financial support from Saudi Arabia and Libya to develop the bombs.

At present, Pakistan sees itself as leader of the entire Muslim world. As Yossef Bodansky, Director of the Task Force on Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare for the US Congress puts it (1998): "Other Islamist leaders not only supported the Pakistani test, but expected Pakistan to use its nuclear capabilities to further all Islamic causes."

Pakistan likes the characterization or not, its bomb is an Islamic bomb, and so accepted throughout the Muslim world by both governments and people on the streets.

What’s more! Several Muslim nations are in a mad nuclear arm race, while millions of their own people die of starvation, disease and civil war. Pakistani nuclear scientist A. Q. Khan had already done his Islamic duty by selling nuclear secrets to Iraq, Iran, Libya and North Korea. There are reports that Kyrgyzstan, Syria and Turkey are also not far behind. Also the collapse of the Soviet Union led to the possibility that former Soviet nuclear weapons might become available on the black market, which is a lure to Muslim terrorists (Langewiesche, 2008, p. 24). According to an estimate, some 250 nukes are missing from the Russian stock (Allison, 2005, p. 61). Islamic bomb is not a myth, it’s a reality.

The signs of a nuclear catastrophe in the Third World War are already on the horizon. The doomsday clock has already begun to tick. Pakistan will surely decide to nuke India at the next Indo-Pak war, and once Ahmadinejad’s fantastic wishes are fulfilled by his Allah, Israel will face the same fate of India. It does not need an Einstein-like brain to understand that the next major Islam-Infidel clash will go nuclear. When a war is started, no one knows, beforehand, what would be the outcome, but everyone knows that it will be terrible.

That day may not be far away, when some pious men with beards and prayer caps and propelled by fanatical hatred of infidels will first recite few militant verses from the Koran and then decide when and where atomic weapons are to be used. For those, who understand Muslim psychology, it is not a question of “if” but “when” the attack would happen. The writing is on the wall, those who have eyes, can see it.

Under this critical situation, what should we do to save our motherlands from Islamic bombs? According to Holy Bible, we should love our enemies, do good to those who hate us, and should offer the cheek, if someone strikes on one (Luke 6:27-29, Matthew 5:39). We can also practice strict nonviolence as preached by the Hindu saint Gandhi and die. But will it solve the problem? As Patton said (cited Hall, 2005 p. 123):

“Now I want you to remember that no bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country.”

While Gandhi won't not agree, the present author has a practical suggestion. Suppose it is the other way around and we are planning to do to them what they are planning to do to us? As Adolf Hitler wrote in his Mein Kampf (1925, p. 58):

“These [terror] tactics are based on an exact calculation of all human weaknesses. They will lead to success with mathematical certainty unless the other side learns to fight poison gas with poison gas.”

As President Truman advised (Donovan, 1996. p.97):

“When you have to deal with a beast you have to treat him as a beast. It is most regrettable but nevertheless true.”

Once the infidel world’s security or economic interests are threatened by Islamic bombs, the whole non-Muslim world must unite and take anticipatory action to defend ourselves. The moment we see a real, inevitable and impending nuclear threat, we cannot hope to sustain such a devastating attack upon our people. We must take every measure on the table to save the lives of our innocent countrymen. We must not let Pakistani Islamic fanatics or Ahmadinejad's desire to kill infidels (Hindus, Jews and Christians) en masse as their fanatical religious obligation to materialize. For the sake humanity, for human rights and dignity, we must be prepared to punish those fatalistic criminals in a pre-emptive manner to save the lives of our innocent children, men and women.

We must make every effort to ensure that innocent people of the world enjoys their right to life and freedom, celebrate life and pursue happiness, instead of being destroyed by fatalistic Islamic mass-murderers.

World must recognize that innocent humanity has suffered terribly and with respite at the hands of Muhammad's cult of hatred and terror since its founding 1400 years ago. The next great war of Islam upon the infidels must be made decisive, aimed at wiping out his Islam, a cult of hatred and violence, from the face of the earth. And there is no better way of going about it than wiping out Mecca and Medina, the heart of Islam.

Obliteration of Mecca and Medina, the nerve-center of the Islamic hate-cult, will mark the beginning of the complete destruction of Islam. Turning these two terror-centers of Islam into ashes would send shock-waves across the Muslim world about Islam's falsehood and futility as well as the infidel world's unfailing resolve to deal with Islamic aggression and hatred. This will bring Allah to His knees. Once Mecca and Media are thoroughly ‘glassified’, President Ahmadinejad, the henchman of Allah, and hateful-filled supporters will give way to logical thinking. Dismantling of Islam once and for all would begin.

A wrong step of Ahmadinejad or Islamic fanatics of his likes will lead to the Third World War, but also Islam's necessary and eventual extirpation. On Islam's Last Days, the arrival time of Ahmadinejad’s al-Mahdi, aka Islam's demolition man, Islamic scriptures says:

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Time will pass rapidly, good deeds will decrease, miserliness will be thrown (in the hearts of the people) afflictions will appear and there will be much 'Al-Harj." They said, "O Allah's Apostle! What is "Al-Harj?" He said, "Killing! Killing!" (Bukhari: 9:83:183)

What can be said is that a major misstep of Ahmadinejad or Islamic fanatics like him would bring about Islam Last Days. There will be terrible killing and bloodbath, but also the demise of Islam, with infidels standing tall.

This author hopes that issues in the Middle East would sorted out peacefully, that people of all faith in that region and all over the world may live harmony, dignity and peaceful coexistence by following the doctrine of universal friendship. But this madman of Islam from Iran, filled with hatred and unrestrained by reason and wisdom, put the whole world is in danger. Iran has a glorious past. Persian King Cyrus the great gave the world the first charter of human rights. Ironically and unfortunately, the same glorious land has emerged a man, bent on destroying humanity. This madman may not only turn Iran's historical humanistic legacy upside down, but also the reason for this great nation's destruction. Didn't his mentor and spiritual Guru, Grand Ayatollah Khomeini, said: “… I say, let this land [Iran] burn. I say let this land go up in smoke, provided Islam emerges triumphant in the rest of the world” (Bostom, 2008, p. 149). We can only hope that Ahmadinejad has the mind and intelligent to understand that his mythological Mahdi won't come and that any attack on Israel would bring catastrophic consequence for his nation.

Common Iranians unable to guide the destiny of their nation, I hope that Ahmadinejad, inspired by his delusional belief, would not go to the point of bringing tragic downfall of a whole people. I hope Ahmadinejad will take lesson from what Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto had commented (Safire, 1993, p. 666) after the Pearl Harbor attack: "I fear we have awakened a sleeping giant and filled him with a terrible resolve".
