An American Major’s Choice to Be a Muslim and a Massacre

American Major Malik Nidal Hasan, who massacred 13 U.S. soldiers and wounded another 30 in a shooting rampage in Texas, was tormented between his sacred duty to Islam to become a good Muslim and his worldly circumstances to serve his country, infidel America. The case of is another stellar example of what Islam does to a human being. The Major, serving at Fort Hood Texas army base (USA) as an army psychiatrist, killed thirteen people and wounded more than 28 others in a shooting rampage.
I would like to purport a theory as to how this happened and would like to say a few things about the whole process that led Major Hassan to committing such an atrocity.
Let me explain.
Firstly, we must understand that Islam is not a religion. It is a complete code of life (a demonic code at that). Islam encompasses each and every aspect of human life: morality, ethics, law, governance, sexuality, code and conduct, even how to wipe one's rear after defecation. A good Muslim is one, whose whole life is cloaked and encompassed by the creed of Islam, whose every saying and doing reflects his allegiance to Muhammad and his alter ego Allah.
I believe that each Muslim subconsciously grades him/herself from a scale of one to ten as to how good a Muslim they are. Subconsciously every Muslim, even if he is non-practising, has this burning desire to be a good Muslim. I am an ex-Muslim, and I say this from my personal experience that every Muslim will always want to be a great Muslim. I will come back to this shortly.
The evidence indicates that Major was a quiet, introspective and intelligent man, who was a faithful Muslim, but he was an American as well. I believe that a war had been raging inside the Major's heart: a war between his obligation to uphold Islamic ideals and his duty to serve his country.
I believe that the major must have read the Quran thoroughly. He must have read the biography of Muhammad. He must have read as to how Prophet Muhammad had killed 800 Jews of Banu Quraizah; how he assassinated poets and tribe elders; how he cast terror into the heart of the infidels. Major must have known that Islam is supposed to be the only truth.
Now, there is a sad dichotomy here: he is an American national and, on top of it, a military officer. He is supposed to uphold the ideals of America as well, supposed and required to serve his country and his fellow men. But he must have had this burning desire to be a good or great Muslim as well.
So there are two paradigms here: 1) one is the true and Quranic Islam that demands that every Muslim must do jihad and wage war against the infidels; 2) the other of being loyal to one's country, which happens to be an infidel one.
These two paradigms, I believe, caused a tremendous amount of stress on major's cognitions. Evidence indicates that he used to argue with his patients about how useless the Iraq war was, and he used to post rhetorical Islamic stuff on internet sites. He used to give out copies of the Quran to other people as well. Again, his Islamic side of personality was evidently at play.
Thus, there was this raging battle between his Islamic side and his American side going on for who knows how long. In the end, his obligation to Islam won, to infidel America lost.I am absolutely sure that his thought processes must have been:
These bloody infidels are killing my Muslim brethren in Iraq, why shouldn't I kill them!
Muhammad said to kill infidels in the Quran, especially those who wage war; why shouldn't I follow Muhammad.
Why shouldn't I be a good Muslim?
This is what the Major must have thought before planning his attack. What Major Hasan did was not an act of terrorism............ it was simply his final affirmation to be a good Muslim. He simply chose to be a Muslim, to render his duty to Islam, and to follow in the footsteps of Muhammad. He is not a terrorist, but a Muslim.
Islam crushes people. It vanquishes human soul. Islam changes human beings to Muslims.
